Privacy policy
Effective October 5, 2026 · Updated October 15, 2026
Trimble Insurance Consultants LLC, doing business as Trimble Insurance Agency ("we," "us"), is an independent licensed health insurance agency. This policy explains what information we collect on our websites, including apply-georgia.trimbleinsurance-agency.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We also run apply.trimbleinsurance-agency.com, which helps people in Virginia, Tennessee and Colorado. The sections below for those states add to this policy.
Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address, and home address.
- Application details: date of birth, sex, Social Security number, marital status, household size and dependents, employment, estimated income, and current coverage. For household members you add, their names, relationship to you, dates of birth, sex, whether they want coverage, and Social Security numbers.
- Your consent and signature: the consent wording you agreed to, your drawn signature, and the date and time you signed.
- Technical details: your IP address, device and browser type, and the page or ad that brought you to our site.
How we use it
- To help you apply for health coverage and any tax credits or programs you may qualify for, and to enroll you in the plan you choose.
- To contact you by phone, text, and email about your application, plan options, enrollment, and coverage.
- To keep a record of your consent, as insurance rules require.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
- To see which steps of our forms people complete, so we can make them easier. We count this on our own servers with a random visitor number, never your answers.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to help you get covered and to run our business:
- Georgia Access and other health insurance marketplaces, to submit your application.
- Insurance companies, to enroll you in the plan you choose.
- HealthSherpa, an enrollment website approved by Georgia Access, so your plan shopping and application pages open already filled in when you choose to pick your plan online. We share your name, contact details, ZIP code and county, household size, date of birth, sex, estimated income, and current coverage. To show you how many plans are available before you give your phone and email, we also send HealthSherpa your ZIP code and county, household size, age, sex, and estimated income, without your name or contact details. We never send your Social Security number.
- Service providers that work for us under agreements to protect your information, including our secure hosting and storage provider (Cloudflare) and our customer management system.
- Government authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your information.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your application, plan options, enrollment, and coverage. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your text messaging opt-in and consent are never shared with any third party.
Advertising and the Meta Pixel
Our landing page and consent form use the Meta Pixel to tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone visits, finishes our short questionnaire, picks a plan, or signs the consent. It reports those events only. It does not send your name, contact details, or answers.
If you came to us by clicking a Meta ad, our server also tells Meta when you finish the questionnaire, sign the consent, or enroll with one of our agents, so we can see which ads help people get coverage. Each report contains only the event, its time, Meta's ad-click and browser identifiers, your IP address, and your browser type. We never send Meta your name, email, phone number, Social Security number, date of birth, address, income, plan, or health information. Our plans page does not use the Meta Pixel, and none of our pages use other advertising or analytics tools. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Our multi-state pages (apply.trimbleinsurance-agency.com, and the /v2/ pages) use the Meta Pixel on the first page and the consent page only, for the same events, and never send your answers. For Virginia, Tennessee and Colorado, our server doesn't send Meta any reports; only the Pixel's event names are sent. Our plans and thank-you pages there don't use the Pixel.
Virginia: privacy notice
This notice is for people we help with Virginia's Insurance Marketplace. It adds to the rest of this policy.
- Legal authority: We collect this information as a licensed agency helping people apply through Virginia's Insurance Marketplace, under Va. Code § 38.2-6509 and the federal rules for agents and brokers (45 CFR 155.220(c)-(d) and 155.260).
- What we collect: First, your name, date of birth, sex, phone number and email. If you continue, the details your application needs, such as your address, the people in your household, your income, and Social Security numbers.
- Why we collect it: To show you plan options, help you apply for coverage and for help paying for it, enroll you in the plan you choose, and keep your coverage up to date.
- Your chance to consent: We ask for your signed permission before we help with an application. You can cancel it at any time.
- How we use and share it: Only to help you with coverage: to look for your Marketplace account, fill in and submit your application, enroll you, answer questions from the Marketplace, and handle renewals and changes. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for anything else.
- Who gets it: our licensed agents; Virginia's Insurance Marketplace; the insurance company you choose; and service providers that run our systems: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), our customer management system (GoHighLevel), and HealthSherpa for plan quotes, which gets only your ZIP code, county, ages, household size and income, never your name, contact details or Social Security number. The Meta Pixel on our first page and consent page sends only the events described in "Advertising and the Meta Pixel" above.
- A record of who we shared it with: You can ask us for a list of who we've shared your information with. Call or text (385) 374-1686, or email TrimbleInsuranceAgency@gmail.com.

Tennessee
- HealthCare.gov's security link: When your agent works on your application, HealthCare.gov texts you a link to approve your agent. It expires in 15 minutes, so tap it while your agent is on the phone. HealthCare.gov may also ask you a few identity questions.
- Social Security numbers: To apply through an agent, HealthCare.gov asks for a Social Security number, or an immigration document number, for each person applying.
- Plan quotes: Before you sign, HealthSherpa gets only your ZIP code, county, ages, household size and income. After you sign, if you choose to enroll yourself online, HealthSherpa gets your details (name, contact details, date of birth, sex, ZIP code and county, household size and income) to open your application. It never gets your Social Security number.
- Meta Pixel: Our first page and consent page use the Meta Pixel to tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when you visit and take steps like signing, but never send Meta your name, contact details or answers. See "Advertising and the Meta Pixel" above.
Colorado
- Your password: We never ask for your Connect for Health Colorado password. You sign in to your own account, and you add us as your broker there.
- How we got your details: Our first message to you says how we got your details.
- Plan quotes: HealthSherpa gets only your ZIP code, county, ages, household size and income, never your name, contact details or Social Security number.
How we protect it
Your application and signed consent are encrypted in transit and stored in private, access-controlled storage. Only authorized members of our agency can view them, and each view is logged. Stored records are fingerprinted so any change can be detected.
How long we keep it
We keep your application and consent records for up to ten years, the length of your consent, or longer if the law requires it.
Your choices
- You can revoke your consent at any time in writing, by email, or by text.
- You can stop texts by replying STOP.
- You can ask to see or correct the information we have about you. Some records must be kept to meet insurance rules.
Children
Our websites are meant for adults. We collect information about children only when a parent or guardian provides it to apply for their household's coverage.
